Telegram Mini-Apps Can Access Several Blockchain Networks With OmniConnect

The well-known web3 non-custodial wallet Bitget Wallet has introduced OmniConnect, a new software development kit (SDK) intended to fill the gap between multichain ecosystems and Telegram Mini-Apps. Through this integration, developers will be able to effortlessly link Telegram Mini-Apps to a variety of blockchain networks, improving communication between different chains.

Simple Transactions Throughout Big Blockchains

Telegram Mini-Apps will be able to sign and carry out transactions on multiple well-known blockchain networks using Bitget Wallet thanks to the OmniConnect SDK. These comprise well-known networks such as Solana, TONNE (The Open Network), and all chains that are compatible with EVM, which facilitates user and developer interaction with decentralised technology on many blockchains.

Improving Telegram’s Position in the Web3 Network

This breakthrough represents a major step forward in the integration of Telegram, a network with over a billion users, with the web3 ecosystem. With the release of OmniConnect, users and developers may now more easily interface with the multichain web3 ecosystem and benefit from a more efficient means of interacting with blockchain networks.

Telegram Mini-Apps as the Web3 Entrance Point

Telegram is becoming a complete web3 site with the integration of Bitget Wallet, making the shift from web2 easier. Telegram Mini-Apps now offer an easy point of entry into the growing web3 arena for people who are not familiar with decentralised technologies.

Growing Outside the TONNE Network

Before, Telegram Mini-Apps could only communicate with other members of the TONNE network. Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, claims that this made it difficult for users and developers to interact with other public blockchain networks. This restriction is lifted by OmniConnect, enabling smooth communication with several chains via Bitget Wallet.

Upcoming Projects to Improve Web3 and Telegram Integration

Kan disclosed that Bitget Wallet intends to launch new projects in order to help the larger Mini-App ecosystem. Future projects like these will improve Telegram and Bitget Wallet even further, which will help developers and reach more people with web3 technologies.
