Abu Dhabi: Swiss crypto financial services provider Bitcoin Suisse has strengthened its expansion into the Middle East after its subsidiary, BTCS (Middle East) Ltd. (BTCS ME), received Financial Services Permission (FSP) from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

The regulatory approval follows a multi-stage licensing process and allows BTCS ME to provide regulated digital asset financial services to institutional and professional investors across the United Arab Emirates. The move forms part of Bitcoin Suisse’s broader international growth strategy as demand for regulated crypto services continues to rise in the region.

With more than 10 years of experience in the digital asset sector, Bitcoin Suisse currently safeguards approximately USD 3.7 billion in crypto assets and is ranked among the world’s largest staking operators. The company aims to bring its institutional expertise and compliance-focused infrastructure to the UAE market.

Through the new license, institutional clients will gain access to regulated digital asset trading, institutional-grade custody solutions, and services designed to help manage and hedge digital asset exposure. The company said clients will also receive dedicated relationship management alongside its proprietary technology and regulatory framework.

Looking ahead, BTCS ME plans to expand its offering by supporting access to tokenized real-world assets as the market continues to evolve.

Ceyda Majcen, Chief Executive Officer of BTCS ME, said the approval represents a significant milestone for the company’s global expansion.
