Crypto.com has relaunched its Level Up programme, introducing a simplified tier system designed to make participation easier and more accessible for users worldwide. The update replaces the previous coloured-tier model with four clearly defined categories: Basic, Plus, Pro, and Private. The changes focus on reducing complexity, lowering entry barriers, and expanding access through subscription-based options.
The Basic tier remains free and provides zero platform trading fees, serving as an entry-level option for casual users. The Plus and Pro tiers introduce additional benefits and are now available through monthly subscriptions, priced at US$4.99 and US$29.99 respectively. Notably, these tiers no longer require users to lock up CRO tokens, making them more accessible to a wider audience. The Private tier continues to target CRO holders, offering premium benefits for users who meet higher holding thresholds.
One of the most significant updates is the introduction of subscription access for the Plus and Pro tiers. This allows users to enjoy enhanced features without committing to long-term CRO lockups. Pricing is localized and displayed directly within the Crypto.com app, further improving transparency and ease of use.
The programme also enhances rewards on the Crypto.com Prepaid Visa Card for users outside the United States. Cashback rates are tier-based, starting at 0% for Basic users, increasing to 2% for Plus and 3% for Pro, and reaching 4% or up to 5% for Private users depending on CRO holding thresholds. Additional perks include complimentary airport lounge access, with Pro members receiving four visits per year and Private members enjoying unlimited access for themselves and one guest. Across all tiers, prepaid card transactions benefit from zero foreign exchange fees, making the card more attractive for travel and international spending.
Existing users are automatically transitioned to their new tier based on previous CRO lockups. They can choose to retain their current lockup to continue receiving enhanced rewards or move to the subscription-based model for greater flexibility.
