Victoria, Seychelles, June 4, 2025 — Bitget, a global leader in cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 innovation, has announced a strategic partnership with the University of Zurich, ranked among the top three universities worldwide for blockchain education. As part of this collaboration, Bitget will sponsor the 6th annual International Summer School – Deep Dive into Blockchain 2025 hosted by the University of Zurich Blockchain Center (UZH BCC), offering scholarships and career development opportunities to students with a passion for blockchain technology.
The initiative forms a core part of Bitget’s $10 million Blockchain4Youth (B4Y) program, designed to make advanced blockchain education accessible to high-achieving students from diverse backgrounds. The Deep Dive into Blockchain program, run by the University’s Faculty of Business, Economics, and Informatics in cooperation with the Global Student Experience, is led by Professor Dr. Claudio J. Tessone, Chairman of UZH BCC. The three-week intensive course explores blockchain through a multidisciplinary lens—spanning academic, technological, legal, and economic perspectives.
“We are excited to partner with Bitget for this year’s program,” said Dr. Tessone. “Their support strengthens our mission to cultivate the next generation of blockchain professionals and brings global accessibility to cutting-edge education. This partnership reflects our shared dedication to innovation, diversity, and talent development in the Web3 space.”
Bitget will award full scholarships to 10 students who meet the academic and financial eligibility criteria established by UZH. The Bitget Blockchain4Youth Scholarships will cover tuition fees, accommodation, local transport in Zurich, academic resources, guided site visits, and participation in cultural programs—allowing students to focus entirely on learning and professional growth.
“Coming from a non-traditional background myself, I understand the transformative power of access and opportunity,” said Bitget COO Vugar Usi Zade. “This isn’t just about teaching blockchain. It’s about preparing future leaders to question norms, innovate responsibly, and build a better digital future.”
Zade will also deliver a special masterclass during the 2025 program, giving students firsthand insights from a senior industry leader and reinforcing the collaborative academic-industry dynamic between Bitget and UZH.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in Bitget’s commitment to nurturing the blockchain leaders of tomorrow. More than a sponsorship, it is a strategic investment in the future of the industry—grounded in education, accessibility, and global impact.
